The Venue

The Belvidere Cinema Gallery is currently the only (known) DIY space between Chicago and Milwaukee featuring art exhibits, all-ages/all-genres concerts using Cinema I, and repertory/arthouse film screenings in Cinema II.

DRIVING

From South of Waukegan (Airport, Chicago, Highland Park):

1. Take the I-94 W. ramp toward Milwaukee.

2. Merge onto the Edens Expressway/US-41.

3. Continue North on Edens Expressway/US-41.

4. Take IL - 120 E./Belvidere Rd. exit and head east toward the lake.

5. Continue East on Belvidere Rd. past Green Bay Rd.

6. Turn right into Belvidere Discount Mall parking lot before S. Lewis Av.

7. Enter the mall from the west entrance.

From North of Waukegan (Milwaukee, Kenosha):

1. Take the I-94 S/Tri-State Tollway Ramp toward Indiana.

2. Merge onto I-94 E (portions toll).

3. Take IL - 120 E./Belvidere Rd. exit and head east toward the lake.

4. Continue East on Belvidere Rd. past Green Bay Rd.

5. Turn right into Belvidere Discount Mall parking lot before S. Lewis Av.

6. Enter the mall from the west entrance.

From the West of Waukegan (Gurnee, Mundelein, Grayslake, Libertyville):

1. Take Belvidere Road/IL-120 E heading east towards the lake.

2. Continue to follow IL-120 past Green Bay Rd.

3. Turn right into Belvidere Discount Mall parking lot before S. Lewis Av.

4. Enter the mall from the west entrance.
